Thanks jbezzy. Let the record show that I'm excited to watch Richards play. Even though our boy bjco seems to think otherwise, I'm not clowning on Richards, but on the basic fact of anonymity in the D-League. Part of the fun is getting to know the guys and learning about their story. Occasionally a player will have had a brief appearance on a big stage and that's usually how they are remembered until something else happens.

Until the next chapter in the Jason Richards story is written, he'll be known as the guy who was very good at getting the ball to Stephen Curry. No shame in that, and he did a great job of it. I'll be looking for more of the same at the next level.

Miami said Richards would have made the team if it wasn't for his injury. K Malone had John and Stephen Curry had J Richards: Yes I know it's a little over the top but a little info on J Richards:13.3 points, 9 assists, and 2 turnovers per game during 2008 tournament against the likes of Gonzaga, Georgetown, Wisconsin, and Kansas, to go along with his season averages of 12.7 points, 8.1 assists, and 2.9 turnovers per game. Kid can BALL

What do you know? Jason Richards was the best point guard in the nation; made it to Miami Heat, acl tear and re-coop and is now ready to take on the best of them. It's always nice to have some one who hasn't been there and probably never will, knock down some guy who has been giving it his all to get back in the game.
